Established nearly 30 years ago, Putting on the Ritz has since grown into one of Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C.’s largest event catering companies. Bobby Mitchell’s catering experience began at barbeques and picnics with the delicious home-cooked fare of his mother’s restaurant, Ma’s Kettle. Today, Putting on the Ritz specializes in a variety of cuisines and service styles. Putting on the Ritz enhances weddings, corporate events, bar mitzvahs, holiday parties, and social celebrations alike!
From the moment of first interaction with one of our dynamic sales representatives until the last guest’s departure at the end of the event, our clients are treated with respect and enthusiasm, and are encouraged to take advantage of the years of expertise at their fingertips.
Our chefs have studied and practiced their craft all over the world, and incorporate their passion for food in every meal they prepare. In addition to our experienced chefs and our professional staff, an event manager and decorator are assigned to each event.
