Putting on the Ritz, one of Baltimore’s most fashionable wedding caterers made a trip to Frederick!
Driving to Shade Trees & Evergreens, one of Frederick’s newest and most beautiful wedding venues, we were struck by the luxurious foliage and sun glistening dramatically off the lake. It is a drop dead gorgeous spot; excellent for any type of affair but just perfect for weddings.

Dana, Clancy’s mom did all of the floral arrangements courtesy of her company, Della Blooms which more than complimented the lush and lovely setting.

And this bride has the coolest name ever; Clancey O’Sullivan
True to her name, the luck of the Irish made certain that the weather was perfect; rather than a muggy night in August, it felt like a Fall evening with temps in the high 70’s.
Guests began with mini martini shrimp with cool gazpacho shooters during the cocktail hour.

Dinner in the convivial reception area included carved top round of beef, chicken bruschetta, whole sides of poached salmon with roasted potatoes and asparagus.
Kyle Berger was the photographer. She and Shade Trees have a few photos up already.

in Westminster was served as a scrumptious dessert. Michael Markwitz never fails to do a great job. It was a stupendous and memorable evening with memories to be cherished.
I guess you are wondering about Clancey’s new name ? Well, nothing says love like adding Hoekzema (Hook-zema) to Clancey O’Sullivan. Clancey O’Sullivan Hoekzema! Excellent!
I can’t wait for my next wedding at Shade Trees & Evergreen, what a beautiful spot.
