The best part of participating in the planning process of this wedding, is that we were able to witness the bride’s ideas transform into a refined Baltimore tented home wedding. Emily & Matt’s gorgeous outdoor wedding & reception took place at the home of the parents of the bride in Baltimore, Maryland on September 26th, 2015. The only thing that could be better than marrying the man of your dreams is to be able to marry him in the comforts of your own home. It was an honor to be able to take part of the transformation of this home into a beautiful and extravagant wedding space.



The ceremony was held in the front yard under a sweet rustic atrium in front of about 200 of their close family and friends. After the ceremony, the guests made their way to the beautiful and spacious backyard for cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed refreshments and hors d’oeuvres pool side beside the gorgeous reception tent set up by Loane Brothers Inc. The many hors d’oeuvres that were passed to the guests included BBQ Shrimp and Grits, Maryland Cream of Crab Shooters, Watermelon Mint Skewers, Fiery Shrimp Deviled Eggs, Asian Beef Salad Wontons, and Brie with Almond and Pear filled Phyllo.


The events of the day would not have come together as beautifully or gracefully without the expert planning and experience of the amazing Elizabeth Bailey Weddings. Our friends at Blue Sage Florals, Table Toppers, and Loane Brothers Inc. performed a spectacular job turning this Baltimore tented home into a stunning rustic reception area. With lovely ivory table linens, gorgeous floral and candlelit centerpieces, the room was setup perfectly for this Baltimore tented home wedding.




The menu for this unforgettable night included a fresh Kale Caesar Salad and the guests’ choice of a beef, fish, or vegetarian entree. The beef selection consisted of our Boneless Short Ribs in our house-made Bourguignonne sauce, served on creamy mashed sweet potatoes, garnished with a baby candy striped beet aside of a bundle of haricot vert (French green beans). The fish selection featured our Grilled Rockfish with Citrus Beurre Blanca, jumbo lumped crab & corn nestled in a bed of heirloom tomatoes, atop of a bed of mashed sweet potatoes, and a bundle of haricot vert. Vegetarian guests enjoyed our Portobello & Risotto Gateaux, layered mushroom with marinated grilled vegetables, creamy risotto and a red pepper coulis.


The wedding band, Spectrum put on a spectacular performance all night long with many cover song favorites both classic and new. After a full night of dancing, dining, and fun, we passed French Fries as a late night snack for everyone to indulge. It was the perfect way to top off this amazing Baltimore tented home wedding.
