Putting on the Ritz Catering was honored to be a part of Kate and Fernando’s big day at St. Francis Hall in Washington D.C.

St. Francis Hall is easily one of the premier venues in the entire DMV area.  Amazing architecture combines with timeless style to create stunning vistas for any couple or their guests.  When wedding guests walk into or around St. Francis, they are truly mesmerized by the beauty and class that surrounds them.  Not only is the inside of St. Francis hall amazing, but the outside grounds are just as stunning.  Across the street at the Monastery is a world class garden that is perfect for pictures and reflection.

All of this makes for a perfect start to what will be an amazing evening filled with love, great food and even some Tango dancing.
Kate and Fernando blended two cultures together with their love for each other and their love of dancing.  Before dinner Kate changed into a beautiful dress, and St. Francis hall came alive with the sounds of beautiful music as the couple started with an opening Tango that really set the pace for what was to come.

But in order to dance one must eat, and eat they did with a menu from Putting on the Ritz that featured Hors from Fernando’s Central American upbringing: The Cubano, Argentinean Chimichurri Chicken and Pan Con Tomato with Chorizo…..and this was just the appetizers!!!  Carved London Broil, Fresh Char-Grilled Salmon, Jamaican Rice & Peas, and Char-Grilled Vegetables finished off an amazing meal.  For dessert, the couple decided on a Putting on the Ritz specialty: Chocolate Pot De Crème

Now that everyone has some fuel, let the real dancing begin
